Location. Las Brisas Ixtapa, accessed via a private hilltop entrance, stands along secluded Villahermosa Beach, and is within walking distance of shops, restaurants and entertainment in Ixtapa, Mexico. Zihuatanejo, known for its music festivals, is located five kilometers from this property.
Hotel Features. Mexican and International cuisine is served at Bellavista Restaurant, while El Mexican Restaurant is known for its wood-beamed décor and banyan tree-shaded courtyard seating. Portofino transports diners from the Mexican Riviera to the Italian Riviera with mood lighting, hand-painted scenes of Italian countryside and fine Italian cuisine. This property\'s staffed business center provides high-speed Internet access, printers, photocopying and fax services. The resort offers recreation at four lighted tennis courts, and guests can swim or play volleyball at the beach or in the main pool. In all, this resort offers four separate pools. Children can splash in their own pool, romp at the playground or participate in supervised beach and pool activities. An on-site salon offers beauty services, massages, and luxurious body treatments while the fitness center provides use of free weights and exercise equipment.

Guestrooms. This resort\'s tiered design allows all 416 rooms to have direct-ocean views from expansive private terraces. Each terrace is the same size as the room and features a table, two chairs and a hammock. Brightly room décor is accented by fresh flowers on guest arrival. Rooms on the Brisas Beach Club floor include complimentary continental breakfasts, daily happy hours and floor concierge services. Children are not allowed on Brisas Beach Club floors.

Expert Tip. Guests receive discounts passes to the Robert Trent Jones Jr.-designed Palma Real Golf Course and Robert von Hagge-designed Marina Ixtapa Golf Course, both located near the hotel. The hotel\'s concierge can set up tee times and provide additional information.
